Ambassador of Belarus, Andrei Ermolovich met CEO Punjab Board of Investment& Trade Muhammad Haroon Shaukat, here today. On this occasion, the honourable ambassador conveyed his greetings and good wishes for the Honourable Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He also renewed invitation to the honourable Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to visit Belarus on behalf of the Prime Minister of Belarus.
He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would be paying his second visit Belarus in August, 2017. A result oriented visit by the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif would prepare grounds for the Prime Minister’s visit, he suggested. Belarus ambassador also stated that the government of Belarus is ready to receive separate delegations of textile and pharmaceutical companies from Pakistan with a view to achieving concrete results. Government of Belarus is planning to send a large business delegation to Pakistan in the area of agricultural products and machinery with a view to creating new partnerships and joint ventures, he said.
PBIT shared information on the above mentioned areas and assured the ambassador of all possible assistance in forging concrete collaboration between the two countries.
