A Chinese delegation from Municipal Government for Tianjin city led by Mr. Chen Wei Ming, Vice President of Foreign office of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government visited PBIT to discuss the possibility of signing an agreement for sister city relation between Punjab and Tianjin. Punjab and Tianjin are already enjoying good relations and ‘Punjab Tianjin University’ is a big example of cooperation between Tianjin and Lahore. PBIT shared that Punjab has sister cities relations with many cities of China and its good to have sister city between Lahore and Tianjin to build a platform between two cities for regional cooperation and materialize efforts for development of Punjab. The meeting ended with the decision that both sides will work each other and after discussion with the embassy of Pakistan in Beijing and both governments sign an agreement.
