Punjab Board of Investment and Trade organized a lunch reception in honour of newly elected body of Lahore Press Club, representatives from Pakistan Audio Video Editors and the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists as well as various prominent journalists from renowned print and electronic media. The objective of this event was to acknowledge the support and help provided by the journalist community to PBIT in achieving its goals of trade and investment promotion and facilitation in the province.
Chief Executive Officer PBIT, Mr. Jahanzeb Burana, formally welcomed the honorable guests, shared his enlightening views and accredited the importance of media in promoting Punjab as a favorable business destination. He congratulated the newly elected body of Lahore Press Club and emphasized on the need to create a harmony between media and PBIT so that the common objective of economic development and prosperity can be achieved.
The esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Azam Chaudhry, President Lahore Press Club expressed his gratitude to Mr. Jahanzeb and his team for bringing the journalist community and the government to one forum. He said that activities like these would deepen the ties between media and PBIT.
In her vote of thanks, Ms. Fatima Ali Khan, Director, Marketing and PR Department, PBIT thanked the guests for their participation in the event and hoped that the both sides would work hand in hand in future also. At the end, souvenirs and shields of acknowledgement were presented to the Chief Guest and the members of the governing body.
