Mr. Ma Zhijun, Chairman of Halal Food Professional Committee and a member of Sichuan International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) visited the Head Office of PBIT on 3rd September, 2018 to hold meeting with the Mr. Jahanzeb Burana CEO and the team of PBIT.
During the meeting various areas of mutual interest, including but not limited to the promotion of Halal Food products exports from Pakistan to China and adoption of way forward on opening the Chinese market for Halal Meat exports from Pakistan came under discussion.
Both sides agreed to ensure active interaction and work together towards promoting Pakistani products in the Sichuan market. CEO PBIT assured Mr. Ma that PBIT’s team shall offer all support and facilitation as may be required for forging strong trade ties between Punjab and Sichuan Province and shall also encourage the Pakistani exporters focus more on the markets in Sichuan to enhance Pakistan’s export portfolio to the region.
