Dr. Choi Moon Sok, CEO of the CK solar company from South Korea is visited Lahore for following proposal:
- Solar Module Manufacturing Plant to be setup in Faisalabad Industrial Estate Management Company (FIEDMC) (MOU already signed with FIEDMC and PBIT)
- The solar manufacturing equipment is sensitive to the power fluctuations and need a very stable supply of power, for this purpose the company also proposes to also build an Integrated Hydro Power Solution, to supply power to the manufacturing unit for 24 hours.
- The facilitation extended resulted in MOU between FIEDMC and PBIT in which the company agreed in principle to setup a solar panel manufacturing plant and will buy land in FIEDMC for the same.
- Site visits were carried out in facilitation with PBIT and the plant feasibility was prepared
