Opening ceremony of the Punjab Youth Festival would be a memorable event on 1st March, 2014 when 60,000 youth would break the World Record of Waving Flag at the National Hockey Stadium.
Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate the Punjab Youth Festival 2014 at the National Hockey Stadium. Guests at the event would include the Ambassadors of the foreign Missions in Pakistan, Senior Bureaucrats, and Provincial Ministers.
The PYF held in 2012 was certified by the Guinness World Records as the World’s Largest Sporting Event and the World’s Largest Youth Festival. Also 25 World Records were also broken during the PYF 2012 and this year again, the organizers aim to set new world records and the stage has already been set by setting the world record for the largest human national flag.
