Delegation of PIBIC and Royal Energy Partners Visited PBIT

A delegation comprising of members of Pakistan International Business and Investment Council (PIBIC) and Royal Energy partners visited PBIT on 25/2/2014. The delegation was led by Mr.Javed Malik, Prime Minister’s special envoy for overseas investment. PBIT facilitated the delegation in arranging meetings with CM Punjab, Governor Punjab and LCCI. Also Research and Policy Department, PBIT shared and discussed various projects related to Energy, Agriculture and live stock during the meeting with the delegates. Royal Energy Partners desired to invest in 660 MW Coal Fired Power Plant in Punjab and also signed a memorandum of understanding with PBIT. PIBIC also signed a memorandum of understanding with PBIT for establishing goodwill and highlighting the business trade and investment opportunities in Punjab internationally.
The companies accompanying Ambassador Javed Malik on this visit included Colt Resources Minerals, Royal Partners Energy, Cal-Valley Petroleum, RHB Capital and BES Portugal, which are represented by Chairmen, and CEOs respectively, including Richard Quesnal, Nicolas Perault, Saad Al Dhaheri, Pedro Santos, Alun Richards, Shahel Khan and Yousaf Yassit. The delegates will also be meeting federal ministers and business community in Pakistan as well as participate in an investment conference being organized in Islamabad by Pakistan Business and Investment Council in association with Diplomat Business Club Pakistan Chapter.
