Mr. Muhammad Younus (CEO-Starlet Innovations), a leading player in the footwear manufacturing industry, joined Transactions Department - PBIT in a zoom meeting session. PBIT's team discussed the potential in leather footwear and value addition in the tanning industry in Punjab.
Mr. Younus shared that identifying export destinations would undoubtedly increase the opportunities but there is a need of increasing the production capacity of the existing industry. In collaboration with PBIT, the local players can explore the areas for JV and technology transfer.
