Punjab Board of Investment Trade as a part of its outreach campaign to attract FDIs and Joint venture in Punjab, reached out to SÜTAS a leading brand in Turkish dairy sector and invited them to Punjab to showcase the opportunities in Punjab, Pakistan’s dairy sector.
PBIT has been handholding the investors throughout their commercial journey in Punjab, wherein Nishat SUTAS Dairy, has requested the assistance of PBIT for the acquisition of Land and conversion of Land. They have also requested PBIT’s assistance in availing tax incentives. The representative of Nishat SUTAS Dairy met Acting CEO PBIT - Dr. Suhail Saleem, to brief him on the progress of the project and to apprise him of the roadblocks being faced.
Dr. Suhail Saleem assured of PBIT’s facilitation in all regards. The CEO PBIT shared that it was PBIT’s agenda to make Punjab more business friendly and an attractive investment destination where the department under its parent department was working actively to operationalize its one window functions under which PBIT will take on board by all the concerned Departments, public sector administrative bodies handling or dealing with any investor. He further shared that under PBIT’s facilitation wing, PBIT is making concerted efforts to shorten and simplify administrative procedures and guidelines for issuing business approvals, permits and licenses, thereby removing bottlenecks faced by investors in establishing and running businesses. CEO PBIT briefed that PBIT was working on establishing a strong investor facilitation mechanisms and would extend all possible assistance for a smooth execution of Nishat Sutas investments.
